Our customer base includes power supply and industrial companies, switchgear manufacturers as well as power generators in the conventional but also in the regenerative sector.
For our plant in Regensburg we are looking for a Global Lean OpEx Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Perform lean factory assessments, identify gaps, and support the implementation of the associated plans in a structured and systematic manner
Professional and technical coordination and advice on operational excellence solutions (best practice exchange, lean management, smart manufacturing, etc.)
Analysis of complex process flows to identify and raise the potential for improvement
Implementation and support of pilot phases and ramp-ups for operational excellence initiatives
Close cooperation with the OPEX and Quality colleagues in all our 14 individual plants
Regular (monthly) reporting on projects, measures, and results
Consolidation of all best practice concepts and ensuring the corresponding communication
Leading or collaborating on projects within the scope of the assigned area of responsibility
Group-wide advice and support for project members and executives in OPEX and Lean
Guidance of assigned project employees and project teams
Leading Group Lean Six Sigma Training and Expert Development Programs
Coach and mentor Junior OpEx and Quality employees
Master or Bachelor degree in Electro / Mechanical Engineering, we are open to other technical studies
Graduate or Post Graduate studies in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Quality / Lean / Six Sigma (preferred)
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
Knowledge and experience with transformers manufacturing processes (preferred) and smart manufacturing technology
Successful experience in managing teams and major improvement projects with excellent facilitation skills
Solid technical/ Quality/ Process background, combined with project management and continuous improvement experience
Experience in dealing with international teams and local organizations on different sites
Excellent communication skills to get people to buy in and lead without authority
Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills
Proactiveness and anticipation
Structured and self-organized
Fluent in written and spoken English, German valuable.
Willingness to travel internationally ( about 30%/ year)
