TECHNICAL ASSISTENT (M/F) (BTA/MTA)
Full time, limited for 2 years with possibility for extension
The RCI – Regensburger Center for Interventional Immunology – is a novel biomedical research center of the University of Regensburg focusing on translational immunology in the fields of cancer immunotherapy, transplant rejection and autoimmunity. The objective of the RCI is to develop efficient immune therapeutic strategies in these areas.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to research projects investigating gene-regulatory mechanisms in primary immune cells in the tumor environment. You will help to establish mouse models and use primary patient samples to contribute to the investigation of cellular and molecular mechanisms influencing the function of the immune system. In addition, you will receive training in next generation sequencing methods such as chromatin immunoprecipitation, chromatin accessibility mapping and other sequencing library preparation approaches that will be used in the lab to decipher underlying (epi-)genetic mechanisms of immune regulation. Lastly, the technical assistant will be largely responsible for lab organizational Tasks.
