Data Governance Expert (all genders)

• You develop cross-divisional processes and strategies, primarily for data from our machines and systems.

• You define the roles and responsibilities for sustainable data use, thereby ensuring consistently high data quality.

• You work closely with data stakeholders in various areas to define standards and ensure compliance.

• You audit compliance with the guidelines for the implementation of data and thus ensure a CIP.

• You create a strategy for data versioning and establish requirements for a data catalog.

• You are familiar with global regulatory data topics (e.g. Data Act) and can derive measures for the concrete implementation of our machines and systems.

• You coordinate developments in the context of data.

• You ensure the transfer of knowledge for business units and are the contact person for data from our machines and systems.

• You have several years of experience in developing processes, roles and responsibilities in the context of data governance and quality assurance.

• You have extensive experience in dealing with data, e.g. classification, documentation, definitions, structures, semantics, versioning 

• You possess project management skills, personal responsibility and the ability to drive initiatives independently.

• You are fluent in both German and English

Ideally you have knowledge of the following topics:

• Weihenstephan standard and OMAC PackML

• Automation systems and OPC UA

• Transfer of data from the automation systems to cloud services
